<image:caption>A nationally touring artist by the time she was a teenager, neo-soul singer PaviElle has music in her blood. But, five years ago, after her parents died within just months of each other,PaviElle lost her will to perform and stopped making music altogether. This segment showcases PaviElle’s triumphant return to the stage with a live performance and behind-the-scenes footage that show the role community, family, and music have in helping her deal with her loss and inspire her critically acclaimed new album. With songs that are intimate, emotional and powerfully soulful, PaviElle pays tribute to her journey towards self acceptance, love and an embrace of her black artistic heritage.
